The Moosomin Food Share has partnered with the Saskatchewan SPCA ( Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals ) to help strive to keep families and their furry family member together. To help families with their pet bills, the Saskatchewan SPCA launched a provincial emergency pet food bank. People shouldn't have to give up their pets just because they are struggling to pay for their food. For many people and families, pets provide comfort. The Moosomin Food Share hopes that by signing up as a partner, we can keep families from having to surrender their pets to a shelter.
If you are in need of pet food, please reach out to us at sehas2018@sasktel.net or give us a call at 306-435-2633. Remember to do your due diligence and get your pet spayed or neutered when it comes time.
If you would like to donate to the emergency pet food bank, you can drop off pet food or pet treats at our location. For monetary donations or more information please visit the Saskatchewan SPCA website or click on their link here Pet Food Bank - SaskSPCA
